The 13.5km Classic is an iconic running challenge against two steam locomotives from Belgrave to Emerald Lake Park, with rolling hills throughout the Dandenong Ranges. The course combines sealed asphalt roads and gravel walking tracks with six rail crossings where competitors must give way to trains.
