The 22km race begins at Mannus Campsite with 3km of undulating dirt road and boardwalk along Mannus Lake. A 4km climb via the Hume and Hovell track ascends to Mt Garland Aid Station, descending 2km before another 2km ascent over Mt Garland. The course crosses Tumbarumba creek on a spring bridge and descends along Burra creek to finish at Henry Angel Trackhead.
