4 Peaks Bright Alpine Climb 2026: Mt Hotham

The 4 Peaks Bright Alpine Climb run up Mt Hotham on 2 November 2026 is on the third day in a series of four trail runs. Starting in Harrietville, participants leave Tavare Park, cross the Ovens River and proceed up Bon Accord Track, this trail follows the river for approx 6km and then leaves the river and climbs steeply up Bon Accord Spur to the Bon Accord Hut Ruins and then participants climb steeply to meet The Razorback and then a further undulating kilometre to the finish at Dimattina Hut. The Bright Alpine Climb, also known as the Four Peaks Climb, started in 1979 to get walkers into the hills to enjoy the superb scenery the area around Bright has to offer. Runners have since joined the walkers and have added excitement to the event. To the current day – runners and walkers all mix well throughout the four day event.
