Whitsunday Trail Fest
The Whitsunday Trail Fest takes you on a journey through Conway State Forest in Queensland on 13 September 2026. The 58km ultramarathon course takes you from the finish line to the start line and back to the finish, starting at Airlie Beach Lagoon and running the 28km course backwards to Brandy Creek and turning to return to Airlie Beach. The 28km is from Brandy Creek to Airlie Beach. The 11km Honeyeater Challenge takes in the spectacular view from the lookout at the turnaround point. This trail includes the first part of the Ultra distance so is also challenging, starting and finishing at the beach.
Getting there
The 11km and 58km distances start and finish at Airlie Beach Lagoon; and the 28km is from Brandy Creek to Airlie Beach Lagoon.
