The Last Legend

The Last Legend on 13 December 2026 is a combination of Christmas celebration, fundraising, Cancer Support and a new format running event for everyone. The event has a Backyard Ultra style with repeated restarts, however it is run on a 2.5km loop course with a diminishing time per lap. There is a restart schedule per lap, so once you complete your lap you rest until the clock counts you in to restart. Lap 1 is 30 minutes, a stroll in the park for most. Lap times are sped up until time beats you. Only one will be crowned Last Legend. However all participants will receive a Last Legend Medal. It is based in the Woodlands Historic Park where the Living Legends Retired Race Horses call home. Help raise funds for these Legends and also for CanTeen, the Australian organisation for Young people Living with cancer.
