Sydney's Backyard Ultra - September

Sydney's Backyard Ultra is based at the scenic St. Ives Showground, with the next event starting on 19 September 2026. A Backyard Ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run a 6.71km course every hour, on the hour, in an epic showdown until only one remains. The course, based from the main oval, is 98% fire trail and grass with some tarmac.
