Rainbow Beach Trail Running Festival
The Rainbow Beach Trail Running Festival on 8 August 2026 includes Marathon, Half Marathon and 11km running events. Spectacular trails will take you through one of the marvels of nature: the towering sand cliffs of the Cooloola Coast. Formed over thousands of years, the coloured sands rise over the expansive blue Coral Sea. Runners will experience lush forests, perched lakes, rising sand dunes and the historic lighthouse, while running single track, fire roads and beaches. Rainbow Beach is 238 kms north of Brisbane and is a 3 hour drive.
