Pilliga Ultra 50K

The Pilliga Ultra in Coonabarabran, NSW from 18 to 20 September 2026 is a 50km ultra marathon in the rugged, wild, and beautiful terrain of the Pilliga Forest. Over the course of the weekend, you’ll be immersed in the beauty of the Pilliga Forest, get to know locals and learn more about what makes this forest so unique. The three-day event includes courses for everyone, including the challenging 50km Ultra, a 20km scramble across sandstone escarpments and a scenic 10km race. Or you can tackle all 3 in the Grand Slam. This event, organised by For Wild Places, raises funds to protect this sacred and significant forest.
