Starting at Cedar Flats, the 22km course climbs steeply up the ridgeline to Northbrook Mountain, descends to England Creek midpoint checkpoint, then features a continuous 600m climb to Mount Glorious summit. The finish crosses the historic stone-lined western ridge through rainforest to the clearing opposite Maiala picnic area.
