Mt Beauty Running Festival

The Mt Beauty Running Festival on 16 May 2026 is one of Australia’s most scenic foot races with an emphasis on fun for all the family. Distances include 10.6km and Half Marathon, plus a 18km trail run and 3km fun run/walk events. The 18km is an exhilarating trail run into the national park and with two shallow river crossings. The terrain also involves scenic ups and downs on a combination of 4WD & single tracks. The 10.6km follows the sealed flat track around the pondage and alongside the pristine Kiewa River, past Pebble Beach. The Half Marathon is 2 x laps of the 10.6km course. The 3km is on a flat track around Mt Beauty Pondage, with no road crossings and panoramic views of Mt. Bogong - ideal for children and prams. This is a cup-free event - bring your own cup/water bottle for refilling at aid stations during the race.
