Lamington Classic

The Lamington Classic is an annual two day trail running event at Lamington National Park in Queensland from 26 to 27 September 2026. Run 42.2km on the first day from Binna Burra along the Border Track to Green Mountains and back again, or 21.3km from Green Mountain to Binna Burra, starting at O'Reilly's. On the second day, run 21.3km from Binna Burra to Green Mountain. The distance has been measured by a 'steel wheel', and is 21.3km from the designated start points to the designated finish points for a one-way crossing. (The 42.195km event, starts about 400 metres into the forest, to achieve the correct distance). This event is Australia's oldest Trail Run (established in 1970).
