
Grampians Peaks Trail Race 100 Miler
The Grampians Peaks Trail Race from 5 to 8 November 2026 is a 100 mile trail ultra that follows the Grampians Peaks Trail (GPT), the newest world class trail situated in the Grampians National Park. Runners have the opportunity to race the full 162km length from north to south continuously, or over a four-day stage race format. There is a team relay option for both the continuous or stage race formats (teams of 3). The course runs from Mt Zero in the north to Dunkeld in the south and entails climbing 7700m up a combination of sandstone slabs, gradual smooth trail, stairs and technical rocky outcrops. The GPT100 is broken up into four chunks, each with major aid stations. There is a stand alone 50km option on the Thursday, and the continuous 100km format starts on the Friday. The township of Halls Gap, will play host to the event basecamp and HQ.
