Fernleigh15 Run
The Fernleigh 15 on 18 October 2026 is a 15km running event from Adamstown to Belmont, staged on the famous Fernleigh Track. The point-to-point course showcases the beauty of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Entrants can run, walk or roll and soak up the beauty of this former rail line. Runners will follow the track for all of the course, except for an out and back section at Cowlishaw St in Redhead. The course rises slightly for 5km and then descends for 10km. There is also a 1.5km race for children under 17 years that starts and finishes in Belmont.
Getting there
The 15km starts on the corner of Park Avenue and Bailey Street, Adamstown and finishes at Belmont TAFE, Alick Street.
