Completely off-road course through central Australia's red earth terrain featuring bush trails, graded unsealed roads, soft sand and small dunes. Runners experience spectacular views of Uluru (Ayers Rock) around nearly every corner, particularly from a scenic private 3.5km looping track at the 6.5km mark opened specifically for this event. The course follows northeasterly directions with turning points at 1km, 2.5km, 4km and 6.5km before returning to the finish.
